power seat question
 

just wondering here...

i have a 1982 300sd. will a programmable seat adjuster and brain from a later year swap into the stock location on my car with the electric seat adjust that has no programmable function?

not a proper response...........
 

i have an 84 300sd. my power seat. either does not work at all. switch. or 'works' by itself. i.e. in the last week or so, i was driving the bugger. stopped at a red light. suddenly the seat activated. went all the way forward. and the seat back went upright too. kinda funny. stopping. and 'moving' simultaneously. at least i do not have a key fob. way too modern for this ludite...............

That would be a funny thing to see when pulling up to the red light next to you.:wacky:
