please,can someone share some insight as to removing the rear window trim to get the seal and windshield out.

Pull back the fuzzy door seal on both sides. Push in on the tabs that hold the trim to the C pillar. Pull the trim forward and toward the center of the car.

Best to cut the seal and push out the glass and trim and use a new seal.
