GO to West Marine.......Startron Diesel Additive....It will put all the crap in a suspension & you will burn it out in no time. If this doesn't work buy a gasser......

I've used Startron my self and you're right.....works great. Filters won't clog as the enzymes break the junk down so fine that it passes right through the filters and burns off. A regular biocide kills the organisms without breaking them down causing the filters to clog. My local West Marine had to order the diesel Startron. They only had the gas version.

Cheers,

Bill

maybe you need to filter your UCO alot better;

or stop getting it from places that use Hydrogenated oil ....or cook too much saturated fat meats in it.

I get in line filters for a buck fifty a pop.

as far as using bleach...it should kill any alge or fungus quick. But if there is any stainless steel in the fuel system...bleach supposedly will pitt SS. But it might be flushed out and burnt right away instead.
