!985 300D Turbo- wo,nt shut off

I cleaned the banjo bolts and switch over valve . Now the car down shifts very hard in to 2nd and first, and wont shut off with the key. What did I do wrong? Help!! Jim

look at brown line off the end of the IP, follow the hard metal lines to the pump from the head. look to the right. brown plastic line should plug into the IP, and go into the firewall, also there should be a brown line out of the firewall going into a rubber tee off the vacuum line from the brake booster.

In other words, you accidently disconnected a vacuum line.
