Go for it, man. While I happen to like the old Benzes at factory height, I'm a fan of hotrods. The purists (of any manufacturer) will lament the fact that you've altered your car but if you like the look that's all that matters. You can alter the ride height and still keep things from looking ghetto/ricer/etc. Unless that's the look you're going for.

I would if I could find real AMG W126 suspension parts.

The ride will probably be a bit harsher, I didn't get the H&R spring kit for just this reason.

If you want to lower the car its simple, cut the springs, or have a new set custom made. As said above just be ready to replace every old suspension part.

If you really want to see a picture of a lowered W123, take a photo of any UN-modified/lowered W123, then print a picture of it. Then, the next step is cut along the body of the car in the picture following the contour of the wheell wells. Then paste or tape the upper portion of the picture over the lower portion to the desired height of the car or how low do you want it.

....just my 2 cents

I'd also like to add, (almost typed ass!)

it's YOUR car. Alot of people buy cars that match their personality, and we all own our mercedes-es-s ( would plural be Benzi?) because WE like them. it's an extension of your personality, not something else, like some 4x4 owners I know..

Also be mindful of where you'll park, if you parallel park often with the bumpers lower than others' bumpers you might get a lot of broken lights.
Any info on the Euro specs, and what parts are different?

The FSM has all the info on the available springs. It has been discussed before and Euro and Fed have same ride height.
