A subject near to my heart. Oh to have a W124 wagon dressed in and AMG body package with a highly modified OM603 that would eat most anything on the road. The Finns seem like they are the experts.

Look at GSXR's web photos and I think he has some of that stuff in there, but I don't know about any links. Seems to me I have read something in English from this guy that does engine and body mods to diesel W124's. I know I have seen photos of a custom exhaust manifold being welded from tubing. The photos were great.

The mersu forums is ok. The Mersu irc channel is pretty decent too, but they only tolerate english only speakers for so long...

A real shame that finnish is such an obscure language. I tried the online translators and even those are totally swamped!!!

Unlike Norwegian, Swedish and Danish, which are Northern Germanic languages, Finnish is a language unto itself whose closest cousin is Turkish. Go figure. All those Finns speak some English. They all had it in school and unlike the US, when kids in Europe have foreign language classes in school, they can actually speak it when they are done.
