Are those the correct headrests, they look like a W115/116 type? I wonder if he has any documentation for the mileage.

After 'only' 527 miles would the driver's side floormat be that dirty??

And I agree with you Craig ... headrests are different than mine at least ...

I don't buy it ...

Before 1980 W114, w115, w116 and w123 all had the same headrests.

I really like that style too! Made really well, and always have very "tight" stitching and fabric....

Both my '79s have had that type of head rest. I prefer it to the newer style.

How often was it driven? How often was the oil changed on it? Could be a lot wrong with it.

Probably only good for a museum or the Classic Center or something.

...Or someone who wants a brand new one, if the miles are verified, and willing to pay for it.

I don't believe the mileage - it looks a bit used, and it should be perfect. You'll also notice he didn't play up the "527 miles" bit like most people who had a real one would do.

I call BS.

Even with 500+ miles if true and I somehow tend to not believe it. That is quite a premium for that model. I suspect it might not catch a bid either.

If it is legit, ebay is not the best place to sell it anyway. A documented car with only 500 original miles should easily bring $25K with the right buyer. I agree, this does not look like a "new" car, maybe it wasn't stored correctly.
