A/C questions.

If I were to go to ,back to, R12, what all will I have to do? Flush,syn oil,what psi of vacume, and how many cans of R12 will it take to fill the system back?

Flush, mineral oil (or compatible), should install new receiver/dryer, pull 29+ inches
of vacuum and make sure it holds, might want to pressure test with nitrogen in
addition to just the vacuum, 2.6 lbs of R-12.

Johnsens freeze 12 would be easier! It's available at Napa and is a direct replacement for R12 that you don't need a handling permit for. Just flush your system well. There is no need to add lubricant because it is a refrigerant oil!

There are NO direct replacements for R-12.
