lol its funny that you say this now i had a guy that used to live next to me and we lived on a long sloping hill. he lived next to the crest of it. and he drove a 5spd honda civic and the starter went out and he didnt want to replace it. so he would part at the top of the hill kill the engine and then when he wanted to start the car again he would get in the car push it until momentum took it off and down the hill he would pop the clutch and off he went

pearl black 1983 240d 4speed (Converted!@$$%) atleast the tranny was rebuilt.
