Well a person who fixes ac on Mercedes Benz looked at my system and told me to start there, see if you csn identify it,i went to my dealer and local supplier of MB parts and they didnt have one,the one in there is smaller than dealers item.:sultan:

It has nothing to do with the AC, that is the vacuum modulator, tells the transmission how hard to shift based on throttle position. Does it shift hard? If so, this might be your vacuum leak.

I was told that the entire vacuum modulator would need to be replaced to buy this part.

Just use a piece of regular rubber line that will fit, and make sure its long enough to not kink when you bend it.

It goes into the modulator, not sure how it connects in there, but it doesn't seem to be a simple elbow.

I might be wrong on this, perhaps someone has dissected one? It is common to the 602 and 603.

I have taken it out and it looks like a simple elbow but it has a sharp ;itt;e nipple that allos it to get inserted, the part the dealer will sell you isnt sharpenned to fit in there.:singer:
