E300td front springs broke,99

The right front spring has broken on my car. At 100k miles.
I have done a preliminary search for replacement but don't see any aftermarket.
Would like to get some springs a skosh stiffer and maybe a set of Blistien shocks.
Who make springs for my car?
CAn I replace the spring using an ordinary spring compressor and pull out tthe shock?

Are you sure it is the spring itself and not the upper perch (mount to the chassis) that has broken off? I don't think I have ever heard of a spring failure in the W210, but the perch failure is relatively common.

Assuming the spring itself has broken, I've never seen aftermarket replacements...only OE and I'd recommend replacing both sides and both shocks at the same time.

Just took out my OEM front springs from my E300. If you want them, just holla.

You must be spitting distance from me. You get 10% off from Holloway with the MBCA club membership...just in case you didn't know. Their prices are 10% over normal list price (which is $65 for those springs) so with the MBCA discount they are charging list price. Duval in Florida sells the for $50 plus 10% shipping each, or about $110 for the pair, so if you can wait 2 days you might try them:

I'm installing some E55 springs I bought off of someone a while ago. Just getting to install as of recently. I'm very reasonable with the price for the springs. Just give me an offer with shipping and it's that simple.

I would replace both sides at the same time.

Agreed. You might also have to do an alignment at the end of the deal
