'Manc' is slang for 'Mancunian', a person who lives in Manchester

Of course, since Manchester is the greatest city on the planet, I would have expected you to know this

if you are responding to my question, that aint the word I was referring to.
I was referring to the post immediately above mine... and I was referring to the description he gave the guy who picked them up...

John

If you come from Manchester you are called a Manc (amongst other things) as people
from Newcastle are called Geordies,
from Liverpool - Scousers,
from Birmingham - Brummies and
from London- twats or sometimes Cockneys but mostly twats, come to think of it so are Scousers for that matter.
Scousers are without doubt the worst of the lot - a real bunch of dirty thieving Brookside watching tossers also known as Scallys (scallywags) also called in polite circles real dodgy f~ckers (soon to be added to the Collins dictionary) So if you ever meet a Liverpool lad on your travels say "hi you Scouse twat" and I'm sure he will be really impressed (not half as impressed as I would be if I saw it though)

So iamamanc = I am a Manc.
Some people thought I was being a bigheaded sod by saying - I am a man c (see) - but I assure you it is the former

Anyway sincere apologies upfront (s******) to any Liverpudlians who may be reading this - by the way, how many hub caps have you got now lar.

I must tell you vstech - The last time I was in Liverpool I had just parked my car and a young scally came up to me and said
"If you give me £5 mister I will make sure your car is safe" (or words to that affect)
I said "Oi there's a bloody big Rottweiler in the back of that Merc"
"Oh yeah" he replied "Can it put out fires"

THAT'S LIVERPOOL

Cheers
Adrian

PS doing the timing chain next week - unless a Scouser nicks it!!!!!!

You don't know what a twat is?

Its practically Queen's English over here

Still, at least we haven't got onto Sweaties, or Sheep-shaggers, or Gimmers, or Arsewipes, or any number of rather excellent English slang words

John - A twat is a pregnant fish..........................go figure eh!!!

Parrot - You can't mention Sweaties or Sheep shaggers that's RACIST and not nice

But I suppose Scottish pillock or Welsh toe-rag would be ok

Notice how I discretely left the Irish out of this one. America's full of 'em you know. Every time I got arrested in South Boston the cop was wearing a claddagh ring. You would get cabbage and bacon for breakfast oh and a broken head when they found out you were English .........ah mammy God love em. Good memories

Anyway what about my frigging timing chain

Cheers
Adrian

My car is doing exactly the same thing after replacing the nozzles with Bosio nozzles.

I think it is the cam followers and the timing. Old nozzles were at 110bar, new ones put in at 145bar. Going to check the cam followers tomorrow and see what's what. My thinking is the better injection is making them more obvious (they were sort of noisy before.)
