W123 Brake Booster R&R
After testing my brake booster and replacing the o-ring seal, it still leaks. According to info here, this means I need a new booster...
(Original thread) Hissing from brake booster? What's a good source for a rebuild? Is there a 'CVJ Axles' of rebuilt boosters? How much time should I count on for this one? Thanks, dd

You can test by evacuating the booster, and "see" if you still have a problem there. They are VERY expensive, so make sure you need one before replacing. I have a used one that works.

Im fairly certain I need one.
Under normal operation after the car shuts down I can hear hssing coming from insdide the boost - the air rushing in. I crafted an adapter out of my old hard vacuum line to connect the booster to the mityvac. Leaks about a mmHg every 5 seconds, and I cant even pump it up past 5. Any other tests I can do to verify? I am sure my test system is airtight. dd
