OM616/7 Injector Tightening Torque
...for installing into the engine. Curiosly not in the FSM in the injector articles.

May have answered my own question...
In the FSM it seems that the 70-80nm applies to both the injector halves AND installing into the head. Must be a translation thing...

59 ft pounds, no more and same for the halves when re-assembling.

I do 55-57Ft/lbs for the injector halves and installing them into the prechambers. No issues so far. I have rebuilt injectors for several people here on this forum and no complaints. Don't torque them too much or you can damage the injector's internals.
