How old are we Shop Forum members?

How old are we Shop Forum members?
Calender wise I am coming up on 45. For a while on the East Coast I thought this was the mandatory retirement age for being a Die Hard Gear Head. Having jsut moved to the West Coast and having met people who do this at age 51 and age 55 respectively, I feel like I am having a Rebirth.
I used to do a lot of "Midnight" gearheading between 11 pm to 3 am and head into work with 2 hours of sleep. I dont think I can do that anymore.

However its funny . Most of the people you meet in the Northwest and Midwest are physically and mentally strong. You meet people out here who are in their 50's who look and act like they are in the 30's.
If this happens to me because of my Move, I will be doing MUCH MUCH more Gearheading.

Obviously i dont want to go to the Great Junkyard someday soon, but when I do so, I would like to do so while working on a car, with all my grandchildren around me, and like the late New York Governor who passed alway "Flagrante El Delictico". Preferably a combination of all three, which means my grandchildren would have to be older than 21 to witness this..:D:D

Older than you Carrameow

I think the reason thay act younger on the west coast is because the weather is better. Winter just stays... and stays... and stays... up here in New England!

Here's a pop quiz, or a dumb question, however you prefer to categorize it...
On a flight from LA California, to NewYork, NewYork. Does a person, "Age" three hours, get three hour "younger", or "age" seven hours, in the flight time..?:D

I'm 29 by the way...

Dumb question......

They get 3 hours older.. Absolute time always moves forward, since the flight lasted 3 hours, no matter what the local time is when you arrive, absolute time has moved forward 3 hours, never to be regained........

I'm still 30 for a few more days. Sometimes, arthritis makes me feel like I'm about 60, though.

Knightrider966 05-19-2007 10:49 PM

Carrameow 05-19-2007 10:51 PM

He would probably age about 10 years, because going from the West Coast to the East Coast is spiritually a big change
