Does the early 77 300D, with auto tranny have a vac line going to it, is so I am lost because we took it out to repair the reverse band and front seal and can't find a vac line anywhere? everything inside is good, except for the reverse band and front seal.

If I recall correctly (based on junkyard observations), that one doesn't have a vacuum modulator. But I don't have one so better wait to hear from someone who does.

That transmission has an external adjustment for the reverse brake band, a threaded rod with lock nut just above the kickdown solenoid. No vac modualtor.
