The parts guy to remain nameless originally had one for me 'on the floor' waiting to be shipped (post german warehouse)..
but the bushing kit was not ordered the first time, so wasn't sent here.. then came the 'delayed' run around for two months..
until today he finally fessed up that 'somehow' it got shipped elsewhere.. good times.

I have a set of springs for the 82 300TD, New. Installed once and the car sat high. Thought it was the springs. I reinstalled the old ones and it sat the same way. The alignment lowered the car and I never swapped the old ones out with the new ones. Soooooo I have a new set of W123 wagon springs collecting dust in the garage. Lesjofors.

I called Lesjofors in England to make sure they were correct, and they were.

$75 plus shipping for both?????????????????

I have one

I pulled the rear sway bar off of an 82 300TD. It comes with bushings.

This is really old. TD and D rear sway bar are identical except for the flat spot for the SLS.

For that matter I have a new with tags one FS if anyone wants..

Yes, the 15mm bar turned out to be a "special vehicle" only part, the 300TD bar is the same 13mm as the 300D. There were only 5 available from MB in the world and winmutt, myself and a few others snapped them up pretty quick once the word got out. And yes, that 15mm bar does make a difference in the corners.

The front 300TD bar is a tad bigger but changing it isn't remotely as easy as the 20 minutes it takes to swap the rear.

I have a used, but rust-free, 13mm rear bar available as well ready to ship.

Does anybody happen to know which vehicle? Police vehicles maybe?

We are talking about the front 300TD bar now. The 15mm rear bar is 77% stiffer than the 13mm rear bar.

The Rear is 13.5-15mm.

The Front is 22-24mm IIRC Someone with an FSM can look it up I believe, 22-24 is a pretty big jump in stiffness.

It lists those and any with the heavy duty towing package.

Does anybody know a shop that would make one? I live in a little podunk town that doesn't have anybody that I would remotely trust to make anything.

I'll take a look.

I'll take a look at the one in Shabby, think it's about done.. It has a really nice (rust free) tail gate BTW....
On another note I got some goodies from Sarah at germanimportedparts and she was passing out 5% discount "coupons". Told me to tell my friends. code F39C1A90
