Angry This one on CL stinks of BS

http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/car/336113260.html
I always look in our local CL to see what kind of MB's are for sale. This one just reeks of BS. 133K miles with the kind of interior it has? What gets me "interior is just about perfect".
Feel free to comment.

that looks ok to me for a 77, it's possible the car sat in the sun for a while.
what do you find BS about the listing? 4K is quite out of line for a 240, but I don't see any BS...

That seat looks like mush. Seats don't end up looking like that with only so few miles.
I've never heard of leather in a basic 240D.

Euro lights, alloy wheels...
"Currently running biodiesel." -- He could be telling the truth, or he's just putting that in there hoping to raise his selling price.
I wouldn't buy any Benz that someone's already run biodiesel in, there's just too much to chance. Bad quality BD, water in the fuel, algae in the tank, etc etc etc.

that mush is so easy to fix too. I just took a rear bench seat cover from a 116 and had the padding re-sewn for $120 (nothwithstanding the disintegrated horsehair, but my spare bench had the padding replaced with foam). Looks near new now.

A front seat would be even cheaper.

I've looked at some with twice the mileage that didn't have seats like that.

The price is insane, true. It looks great in the photos, though. Without serious tears in the seats, a little Dacron would have the seats in great shape.
