What in the world did i do wrong?
Well the 300SD that i got for free now has a non-op transmission!
After having dieseldiehard fix the problem with acceleration the transmission goes out on me. I was coming off the dumbarton bridge and the transmission starts to surge. Then it starts dropping in a low gear and goes back to 4th then back to a low gear and back too 4th. About 3 miles from the exit it gets stuck in 1st gear, so im scooting along at 20mph in the emergency lane with my hazards, while the temp starts raising so i turn the heater on to control the rising temp. along with the trans stuck in 1st i run over some glass and popped a tire Finally drag it over to a parking lot and the transmission no longer gets into any gear. The fluid level on the dipstick read full, a co-worker of mine takes a look and says "well......your trans is shot" What could have happen? and where should i start?

Yes, if there wasn't any slipping before in any of the gears, sounds like a pressure fluctuation of some sort. Check your filter - maybe try to get another valve body and then prepare for the worst.
