Dam I've stoped and looked and I now have 7 123"s diesel. 2 are parts cars. then I have
a few 15 gallon storage containers full of about 300/400 parts, ie. vac lines etc.
How many other (devoted's aer there out there) A few thousand I bet. RAY M

Well ,at last count I was at about 21 vehicles including parts cars ranging from '39-03 , as far as parts, put it this way, I have a 2525sqft workshop...which I can park my goldwing and one car in right now....

I don't have any parts cars (yet) but I sleep in my apartment's dining room and use the bedroom and it's closet for storage.

Had a I think it was a 190" i think it was" coupe 30yrs ago. It bwas a convertable not a gull wing. I cry when i thing i let it go.

Parts in the foyer........parts in the living room.........tons of parts in the garage.........now the problem is finding the one you want...........

You have only gone too far when you find yourself buying a part you already have.

This is really a warning bell. I used to build or aquire additional storage as required till then.
Right now I am negotiating for a parts car but no where to keep it. Enviromental laws limit your storage of vehicles outside even if out of sight and on your property. They find them with the air overviews.
Perhaps disguising it as somethng else might work. Will check out the war surplus shop this week. They have concealment nets for army equipment I hope.

fortunately for me, they do the flyovers in march/april, and tree cover is amazing here.

The trunk, interior, and roof of my parts car make excellent parts storage areas. I use the trunk lid as a staging area for the task at hand.

I have a lot of W126 stuff. My dad build a very large wooden shelf unit in the basement that is full of stuff, and I have another corner of the basement full of body parts. I have a complete set of rust and dent free doors for example. The garage has a healthy amount as well.

My problem is I order parts planning on doing projects but then don't do them for awhile. Like I have two new engine mounts that I have been meaning to do for a long time.

I am finaly getting rid of some of my wheels, but I still have a ton of wheels.
