95 e300d aux fan wiring diagram

Aux fans not coming on when temp gets around 110. Spin freely by hand. AC still cold. Jumpered them with engine running and ac running - no aux fan. Cleaned connections on resistor- seems fine. MB coolant, Behr 85 thermostat, new fan clutch. I have the service cds but they don't contain the wiring diagram. I'm reluctant to provide 12v to the fans directly as I'm not really sure which wires to use. Can anyone provide a link to the wiring diagram? Is there anyway to test the fans from the dash controls with key in a certain position? Is there a process to test the aux fan relays? Thanks. I used to hear the fans roar to life, when it got hot, but I haven't heard them so far this year.

Look in the box behind the fuse box [ few screws] that is where both high and low aux fan relays live...one is blue, one is green....they have spade fuses on top of the relays 15A and 30A..start by checking both fuses ...easiest to use hood full open position
Report findings to continue.

Umm. The report is very simple. 15a fuse was bad. Jumpered the fan and it fired up right away.

The resistor smoked a little, but I guess that was from smoldering spiderwebs and dust. The smoke cleared and all seemed fine. What would cause the fuse to blow in the first place I'll keep an eye on it.

Thanks for the good idea Dalton. Much appreciated.

fuse

Last night after I read your post, I could only find 25 amp fuses. I put it in and had second thoughts. I didn't want to make my problem worse by using it. I'll change it out. Thanks again.
