1995 W124 E300D Flasher RELAY fixed, now...

OK, so... I needed to replace the flasher relay, which I did today with no issues. I get in the car, test the functions it is supposed to control, and all looks good.

Then, driving down the road I realize that the radio has no power, and the clock is not working. Hmmm, fuse. So, I run into my local M-B dealer, buy a fuse kit and before I could even get the new fuse SEATED it blew. The car was off, and I have no explanation.

Anyone have any ideas? Has it happened to any of you?

I have the faulty relay to re-install for testing the fuses, but I'd rather not go through a bunch of rather expensive fuses to figure it out.
