Got the FLIR Thermal camera *videos up*

OK everyone, I have the thermal camera for the weekend, are there any special requests for any particular areas of the car?
I was planning on recording the glow cycle, first couple minutes of idle, and a look around the engine after running a while. Any specific areas to look at?
-nB

Update: here are the first batch of videos, I don't know if I'll get more made this weekend, or if I'll have to score the camera in July to get more vids...
Sorry for the overall quality, but there is no integrated recorder or view screen in the camera, so I'm using my old Archos MM jukebox20 with it's 1 inch screen to focus by and to record, so I'm juggling a HDD recorder that I need to see what I'm doing with a ~$20,000 camera that has a broken hand strap...

First up, My 4 year old having some fun
Second up is the engine cold. At this point the engine has not been cranked at all.
Third: Engine running (approx 3-5 minutes)
Fourth: Back from a medium run (up to full temp, max speed 50mph), rear end, piss poor quality, sorry but the ground was icky and wet.
next: Front grill and Hood star (as requested)
and then: Rad area, hood up, lights off, engine compartment, both color and B&W, some really bad footage, and some good.
finally: brake booster area

Ultimately I will edit these into a nice montage, once I get all the footage we would want (not there yet, not sure if we'll get there (unless someone in the Sac area with a garage wants to donate time and space on a weekend to do this?) It's really awkward in the apartment parking lot...
Cheers all

Those FLIR cameras are nice to have. I used mine to see if there were cold spots on my 190D radiator and see if any heat was "leaking" out of my house windows

Flir

Hey nB,
Could you get an image of the dif housing after some hiway cruising? Might be ugly getting under there, but I've always wondered how hot the diff gets.

Thanks, Chris

How about the turbo (without the air cleaner) revving to different RPM's or cool-down right after a hard run.

While on that frame of mind, how about the windshield as the washer/wipers are working.

No can do, my washer is broke

I'll see what I can do tonight, don't want to run too hard with the assed up motor mount that I have yet to get to.

Camera is pumping down and chilling now, should be ready in half an hour or so. Bad news is: I cant find my key (my one and only key)

Soooo....
wish me luck on the key hunt.

Updated the top post, all videos are on-line now.
I hope to do more, but it turned out to be much more awkward to do than I expected, I'll nave to figure something out. Also as I noted in the update, should anyone in the Sac area with a real garage (and AC power) want to spend a (hopefully cool) July night on this I can attempt to get the camera again then. It would be vastly easier to have the gear set up better, and to have two people working on it.

Cheers,
-nB

NetworkBoy, I am just around the corner from ya, and would be happy to help out. I got a large garage, and multiple power outlets. Let me know when the next time ya got it will be!

I'd like to see the exhaust manifold, it would be nice to see what variation there is across the output from each cylinder, although being cast iron the differences would be small.

I was really hoping to catch the glow cycle, but as my battery was dead I had to charge it from my truck and jump it, couldn't afford the 4 or 5 glow cycles that would be needed to see it come through.
