I can't find the low side fittings on my 82 300 TD sedananyone? Thanks much... The high side is on top right?? Kind of a knucklehead question but, I wan't the only one that couldn't find it

Heya Oxnard Guy,,

Well all I can tell you is that the high side will be on the skinny hose that is usually blue. (Fitting is located in front by the radiator / condensor and driver side head light on my car) .. .not sure about yours...

Just keep in mind the LOW side is always on the fat hose that should be insulated. If not insulated like mine is not, then insulate it when you get a chance...

The line coming from the evaporator going to the compressor need not be insulated. The evaporator should have let the refrigerant absorb pretty much all of the heat that it can by that point, and you shouldn't worry about absorbing more in that line.
