Steal of a deal on a 85 wagon in Seattle...

Man what a deal!

http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/car/341748831.html

Doesn't even list the mileage... I know the prices on diesel Benzes are high in Seattle but this is getting out of control.

I only paid $600 for mine a month ago... Of course, only one window works, it blows nothing but hot air all the time, and it smells a little funny inside. Still, that's a crazy price.

well, it does sound like it may be a euro... "cloth seats" as the only clue... I can't wait for pics to see what color it is, and how "perfect" it appears to be.

I'm not saying its worth 14K but IF you have the money and want a "top of the line", "knock your socks" W123, its cheaper in the long run to buy a well kept one and pay more. Just depends on what you want

More evidence of it being a euro: "1985 Mercedes 300TD diesel"

No mention of a turbo. Man, 14k and only 80ish horsepower. Yikes.

No doubt he'll get it on ebay. If not I'm sure a zero feedback bidder will get it in the end ( and it will magically appear for sale again sometime down the road).

Switches? They had been disassembled by a PO and many pieces were missing. The replacement switches I picked up have been cleaned and tested good. I still only have one working window. Wiring.

I'll get it sorted out. Thanks for the suggestion.
