after buying a '91 350sd with replacement engine at 125k from the dealer, blown head gasket and turbo, beautiful inside and out for $750 I can't do anything other than laugh hard at this kind of 'deals'...

Looks alright from the outside. I bet they'd clean up good. anything has potential.
However, the engine compartment is another story. the aluminum corrosion on the higher up engine parts tells *ME* that it's been under water.
The condition of the paint and the interior and engine compartment don't match...something is amiss....

No thats normal of Michagan, they use a crazy amount of salt on the road. Those cars also have rust, if he says they don't he is lieing. Give me a screw driver and a lift I'll find some rust holes.
