Look what I broke this time!

So I was finally removing my EGR and decided it would be easier with this black tube out of the way. That turned out to be a bad idea. I broke it where it came out of the head cover/ valve cover. So I pulled the cover thinking I could get a new one from the dealer, but I can't get at it inside the cover. There seems to be a piece of plastic inside the cover that runs the entire length of the cover. See pictures below. My first thought was to glue the plastic back together. My second was to get a piece of rubber tube that would fit inside the plastic and replace it with that for now. Advice please!

only things listed for your engine is the breather hose and breather hose grommet. perhaps you broke the hose off at the end and thats it.

It's a crankcase ventilation breather tube and yep, you broke it! Well not to bother. Just chip the rest of it out and go to the hardware store and find a rubber bushing grommet that will fit in there and a plastic tube the correct size to reconnect your breather hose to. This part is not under much pressure and shouldn't be too hard to modify. There are a lot of vehicles that use these and even the local auto parts store might be of some help.

Thanks for the link to the parts. Yes I broke the hose where the 90 goes into the valve cover. I'm sure I need the grommet as well, it is probably as hard as a rock after 20 years of heat.
