I believe someone here said that minimum spec was .4 bar at warm idle (which seems a little low), but I don't remember anyone saying what "normal" level is. If your guage was working, do you know what it should be? Is my 1.4 "normal"? Thanks.

No worries at all with 1.4. The 603's run 1.5 all the time and never get to 3.0 until they reach 1500 rpm. Kind of concerned me at first.......but.........it's perfectly OK.

I jumped right out, opened the hood so I can see the fan stop when I shut it down. It spun for 2 seconds after shut down. Replace the clutch ?

That's the lowest I've ever seen mine, even in the dead of winter.

BTW, my hot idle oil pressure is around 1.5 bars (385K mile engine). Yours looks good. |

Just turned 232,500 this week. I'm running Rotella. Had the valves adjusted Friday. It feels even livelier than before. It felt faster than my '83 123 before the adjustment. Feels even better now. Hopefully will have the a/c fixed this week before my first road trip to see my dear sister in Delaware. I think it's gonna need a rear tho. Unless it's the left rear hub bearing that's howling.

Oh, I forgot to ask. Parts place said they need my engine number to get the right clutch. Where do I find it ? He said he need the whole number, or the end part. 617 wasn't enough info.
