What cycles the AC Compressor on W123
What cycles the compressor on a 77 300D. Other then the switch on the Expansion Valve which I believe only cuts out the compressor when it gets near 32 degrees (ETR??). From what I can tell the switches on the dryer only control fan and cut out the compressor if there is low pressure.
I bypassed the Servo\AutoClimate Control for heat and jumped the compressor to get AC, I just want to wire my manual compressor switch through the correct switches to allow it to cycle. I see on the wiring diagram: Compressor switch (in car) AC relay-Starter cutout Aux fan relay Temp switch in dryer for aux fan - closes at 142F Evaporator Temp regualtor - ETR Last edited by 97E300D; 06-05-2007 at 11:41 AM. |

The ETR is what cycles it to keep the evaporator from freezing up.....

Looks like it goes on the Receiver Dryer...... Possibly is the high-pressure cut-out........
Call em up.. Those guys at Lenz are great!
