Warm on the left, cold on the right...
Driving home today, the A/C was nice and cold. Temp wheel was set at MIN. I had to pick up my daughter and take her on an errand about 40 minutes after I got home. Hop in the car, hit the A/C and the vents on the driver side began to blow warm. The vents in the right were still ice cold. It was like a dual system. When I came to a stop, the driver side began to blow cold. accelerate, then warm again. Right side stayed cold. Out of curiosity, I moved the temp wheel to MAX. Both side got hot. I then moved the temp wheel to MIN, and both sides got nice and cold.
I checked the freon pressures, and they were fine. I'm thinking it's the mono valve. Any ideas?

I think your A/C is fine. It sounds to me like you have a problem with a vacuum line to an damper under the dash.

I have the vacuum disconnected due to various leaks in the dash. Currently, the air is split between all dash vents and defrost vents. This morning the a/c worked fine.
Good idea to clean the CCU terminals. I need to replace a burned out bulb in the wire "octopus", so this will give me the added task to make it worth while.
