Euros on a Wagon?

This is just out of curiosity, but I see all the coupe and sedan owners wanting euro lights.
Where are the wagons?

I'm just wondering, but is there some reason why I have never seen a wagon with euro lights?

wagons would have the round euros.. Only car that had the square euros IIRC was the 280CE...

The knock offs do just as fine.. Adjusting is just a lil hard. Katmac sells the square euros. If you want better lighting you can get 7" round Hella lights that are not a sealed beam type for your us spec set up..

My euro 84 turbo wagon originally came with Hella lights with vacuum adjustment. Unfortunately they are gone, replaced with US spec lights. The thumbwheel adjuster is still on the dash though.

Once I get everything else straightened out, I'll get myself a set of the correct OEM lights.

My euro wagon came with the french yellow square euros. When imported to the USA in 87 they were federalized and change to the regular DOT 7" white and 5" yellow. I have tried to get the OE equipment but it has been very difficult.

From 1983 all w123 models in Germany, UK and Holland came with euro square whites. and all French models came with the yellow ones.
Before 83 only M110.XXX or OM617.95X equipped cars had the square lights That is 280, 280E, 280C, 280CE, 280TE and 300TDturbo).

hm I could have sworm only the 280CE had the squares..

French euros had to have the yellow due to a french mandate so it was easy to distinguish french cars from the rest. Typical french

Austin has french euros. Square.. with yellow fogs.

I'm thinking about using the POR-15 glass paint to make my reflectors yellow and the glass also.

My wagon has the round lights because that is what gives the W123 their "look". The Euro's take some of the personality away.
Euro's on the W126 and especially the W116 are a huge improvement in looks and of course function.
I need those bug eyes on my W123's........;)

X2. I find the euro lights (square) make it look like a russian taxi to me. I think it only works on a period AMG car,
