Tracking down leaky HVAC vacuum?

83 240D

Green HVAC vacuum line coming through the firewall does not hold vacuum so something is leaking. Where do I begin to diagnose?

Do I have to dismantle the whole dash to do this? Is there any guide to getting this done?

Here's I write-up I did on troubleshooting your vac system. http://www.schumanautomotive.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2755
Post #8 is the section on the climate control. You can test all the vent actuators without pulling the dash. Replacing them all is A LOT easier with the dash out.

Seems like a great write up but I registered at that forum and it says I don't have permission to view the attachments

I really want to see those pictures you posted but I haven't been approved on that forum apparently. I see that you're a super mod there so could you possibly do something about that?
