I raced my friends E300D, my other friends Bully Dog tuned Chevy 2500, a 4cy Honda Accord, and a BMW 318I.

I beat the Honda and BMW on the highway. The E300D got me, by a good margin, we just pulled to 60-70. The Chevy eat me alive, but it has the 8.1, full exhuast, Bully Dog tuning, intake, etc etc.

I'd race another of the same just to check performance, sure.
But, I wouldn't bother racing some ricer to prove the size of my unit or anything like that.
I grew up around sail boats, not speed boats. I think it carried over.

Racing gets tickets!

Racing gets tickets so I don't race anybody. What do you care if you can get a couple yards ahead of someone in a half mile. Does it make you feel good? Why don't you get a life? Since you got me going, I might add you could spend a little time brushing up on your written English, your spelling, capitalization and punctuation is really on the slow side.

I race Star boats, we did three races on Saturday, we scored a 15, 16 and 20 out of 30 boats. Very disapointing day, very frustrating. The spirit of racing sailboats is no different, then racing anything else. You play to win.

Racing anything is fun, if you have a competitive nature its hard to resist and very rewarding.

That's what I figure too. I do the same, always lose the hole-shot but once the turbo comes in, it surprises some people.

i beat 4banger econoboxes regularly, and some v6 suv's as well. it's all part of my continual "italian tune-up" regimen. i don't know why people do it. they may as well be throwing five-dollar bills out the window with the current price of gasoline. meanwhile, i'm on the wvo. haha.

Play nice...or at least make your subject and verb agree, while avoiding run-on sentences.

I love grammar nazis!

It would look more like two old ladies pushing their walkers with all of their might in order to get the package of Depends on the shelf.

"....suddenly Edna and Ethel both heard the friendly voice over the store intercom state that there was just one package left of Depends, at the unheard of price of just a dollar ninetynine. Their eyes met for a moment...a cold smile that looked more like a grimace than a smile, appeared on their wrinkled faces. Suddenly they sped off towards the Isle they were so familiar with...Isle 5....the Isle they had visited so many times before to pick up their all too familiar Depends undergarments. Ethel has a slight edge as her grandson had just installed two new, bright and fuzzy, neon yellow tennis balls, onto the bottoms of the rear legs of her walker - less drag gave her better speed - she was confident that she would reach the prized package first! Edna on the other hand, had new hard plastic gliders installed, and because of her bad hip, had at first applied uneven thrust to her walker, and nearly spun out like a rookie in his first run at Daytona - only years of experience helped Edna save herself from spinning out, as she quickly shifted her weight, and her large faux white leather purse, to the other side. Forward they raced, each one intently staring at the Isle of their desire - unfortunately for Ethel, she was so intent on her goal, she did not see the old man in the cane standing infront of a cornucopia of laxatives, deeply engrossed at first in the plethora of offerings, and suddenly thrust into the here and now by Ethel, as she suprised him so, he nearly lost his need to by any of the aforementioned products. This, was precisely the edge Edna needed to catch up to her bargain hunting foe! Forward she shuffled, her fuzzy slippers almost a blur to the naked eye, her breaths short and almost gasping, her grip so firm on the walker's handles you could see the veins and arteries passing by her swollen arthritic knuckles. Walker to walker the raced towards their goal, the prize a mere 15 feet away - so close, they could almost smell that scent they douse those things in. A young stock clerk seeing this, thought to himself: "Wow, kinda reminds me of two 240D's with automatics racing each other" The clerk grinned a wide grin, and took out his camera phone to take a pic and show his fellow members at mercedesshop.com - they might get a kick out of this, he thought.
In the meantime, Edna and Ethel were neck to neck in their race, and a good 5 feet closer to their parcel of incognito relief. The fuzz at the bottom of the tennis balls threatened to get warm from the speed and friction, the plastic feet slid across the terrazzo flooring, crushing grains of dust beneath them, and this dust created a ever so slight vibration in the legs of Edna's walker - undaunted by this vibration, she pressed on! Would this be a photo finish? Will it be Ethel or Edna who will hold the plastic wrapped bundle of adult diapers high over her head in victory?
Or will that stock boy with the wide evil grin walk over, and grab that sought after last package of Depends and give it to the man who almost lost his bowels while being sideswiped by an old lady?
Naaw....turns out it was the wrong size for both of the two old bags - they smiled, turned, muttered something under their breaths, and continued on to the section with cremes and ointments, designed to dull the pain of aching muscles - the kind you get racing other old ladies.

I've seen stuff like that at publix.. but it was two old people on the electric carts

then the one that lost asked me if we had anymore in the back.. so I go in the back.. and I cant get to anything because we just unloaded a truck and the stuff she wants is probably somewhere in those 19 pallets.. but i'm not digging through them for some friggn lame product.. so I sit down for like a minute.. drink some tea... go back out and tell her we are out

I hit top speed today for a couple miles on the freeway....probably around 112-114ish......I was flying. No one has ever really challenged me yet on the freeway, only once by a SUV, and I beat him.

I think it'd be a blast to have a bunch of these cars on a track and race each other. It'd be a combination of who's engine/suspension is in the best shape, and who has the best driving skills.
