I did a diesel purge yesterday. Did not solve the problem. The knock is more present the further away I go from the car toward the back of the car. Any idea what this could be.

Have you tried cracking the fuel lines at the pump to see if the problem goes away? If you want I might be able to swing by after work this week sometime to poke and prod with you.

Thank for responding. I did crack the lines but the sound did not go away. I bought a stesascope and listened. It sound like it is coming from #4 and #5 line that goes to the injectors. The funny thing is just the line, not the injector or the IP. I would be available any evening. I sure would appreciate it.
