aux. fan works intermittenly can it be cleaned?

hooked it up to direct power fired right up.

then it hesitated a bit ran again. can these be cleaned to work more consistently, or resoldered.

i pulled it apart and it seemed a bit dirty

your thoughts?

Well, you want to clean out all the dead insects and junk that accumulate in there, and you can try to clean and resolder any circuitry to get better contact.

cleaned her up, fired it up and it blew me into the corner.

no more hesitation, hi/low whirring... one speed - fast

highly recommend this - pulled it out, opened it up, blew it with air, little sand paper here and there, presto
