W124 Rear Tie Rod Replacement
I need to replace the tie rod on the rear of my '87 W124 so I can get it alligned. I have read the manual on line and need to know if there is a diy write up on this. I have looked and can't find one. This is my first try at this, but I have replaced a few other parts on the rear suspension with great success. Does any one have any tips on how to remove this and replace it without any special tools? Any tips on the eccentric would be appreciated too. Thanks in advance, you guys are always very helpfull!

W. Hunter,
Thanks so much. I have replace the outer control arm bushing, and two other "dog bones" on each side. I will look into these other items suggested. I really appreciate this and all of your other posts/replies I have read over the years! PH |
