help me identify where this vac line goes (with pics)
Where does this line go under the dash?
I've bumped and scraped my head all under the dash and I can't see where it came disconnected from. Help?!?!?

Goes right where it is...simply a vent for the trans shift control vacuum valve.

So... it's just supposed to be open under the dash? Doesn't connect to anything???

Exactly. Just a vacuum dump line getting cleaner air than what is found under the hood.

Ok, well, seems to me they should've at least put a filter on the end. Anyway...
Thanks to you both!

Jokes on me.
Yeah,
They got me with that one too. Spent about an hour with my head under the dash, even pulled out the guages. Came back here and found out it was a vent. Hahah haha hahahahaa, (really high pitched and crazy sounding laugh) Dan
