W126 A/C not working
I just had General Development Labratories rebuild my climate control and I just charged the system with two cans of R-12, but it blows cold air for about 30 seconds and then warm air for 30 seconds with the compressor running all the time. Also, the temperature wheel doesn't seem to work at all. I can turn from min to max and there is virtually no change in temp from the center vents. Is this a bad climate control?

Is this the same problem you had prior to changing out the CCU unit? After you added the r12 what is your high side and low side reading on your manifold gauge?

the other CCU only blew hot air and I could not turn it off even with the off button. the fan would stop but hot air would still trickle out of the vents. I took the gauge readings and Ithink they were about 150 and 80. is there something that controls the temperature. I can't get the temperature wheel to work either. When I roll it to hot it still tries to blow cold air.

The temp control wheel interfaces with the temp control regulator, which is separate from the CCU. A bad monovalve (or connection to same) could cause unselected hot air.
