My, how nice!

I was offering advice from years of experience...take away what you want from that. No harm, no foul. As a buyer, assumptions lead to misunderstanding that usually result in disappointment. I prefer to manage expectations by being as open and thorough as possible.

Judging from the lashing out you are already fairly emotionally involved. Perhaps your reaction exemplyfies the statement that the value is indeed in the eye of the beholder...

Best of luck,
Hope it all works out for you.

Well, I bought the Cream Puff!!!

Paid 5K. That is a little more than I wanted to pay, but this lady was REALLY attached to this car. If I had said 4,995$ she would not have taken it. Besides, this car is in too good of a condition to pass up. I mean, it looks like MB just sprayed the undercoat.

I will post pics within a couple days.

This has been a joyous first post from a new MB owner.
Thank you for your support.

That happens

Someone wins and someone looses. Too much talk and strategy and the big prize got away from SDEL. It has happened often and will happen again. But, when you find a good one, better be prepared both mentally and financially to put it together as good as you can and as soon as you can. If you don't get it, some one else will.
