Proving once again (pics)

that the members of this board are awesome. The indy mechanic in glenwood springs quoted me $400 for new rear rotors and pads for my 220D. I ordered the parts for $81 shipped and 3 hours and 3 beers later, my brakes are done. Thanks to everyone who ever posted info about brake service, as I studied the archives all week waiting for the parts to arrive.

The right rotor came right off (as soon as I released the parking brake!!!! DOH!)


Choss on the right, new Brembo on the left


No wonder there was some grinding noises coming from that side of the car


I did the left side so fast, that I forgot to take pictures. New Brakes!

Great pics. I believe I will have the pleasure of doing the same for my 190D in the future. Speaking of which, I checked out your 190D on ebay. I loved the pics - especially the one of the mechanic! Don't see that kind of personal touch on ebay that often. It's important that buyers can see an honest face!
