Need Recommendation for Tampa Bay area MB Mechanic
 

Can anyone please recommend a solid independent mechanic or shop in the Tampa Bay area (preferably in Tampa itself)? I have used Rennen in the past for my VWs and Audis, but don't think they do diesel benzes.

I have had good results with Ludek's in South Tampa. He's on Gandy between Macdill Ave and Himes. Been taking my 83 300sd there for years.

It would be great for fiture reference if this thread could be copied to the "General Discussion" area under "Good MB shops"

I have been using German Imports on Walsingham Rd in Largo for a couple of years now and have been pleased with them, they are also Bosch certified. 727-596-1374. I only notice MB's and Beemers there. Lokey MB in Clearwater has an ace mechanic who really knows older MB diesels by the name of Jay.

I am also an owner (original) of a 350SDL with a 190K miles on it now, still running and looking fine.
