123 interior door trim

What do we call this soft fabric covered trim piece?
Where can I find some replacement?
Is it an east job?
Thanks – JA

My solution: Rip the stuff off...theres a nice black trim piece underneath that I think looks great on its own and better than the fabric.

Total work time 5 minutes if you go slow

I searched a while back and could not find exact replacement fabric that matched. If this is the biggest problem facing you and your MB im very jealous.

Hope this helps,
dd

trim

This place might carry it, but probably not in small quantities.

This '83 TD is near pristine (lovin’ the 4-speed after 3 yrs and 30k mi). I feel like it took 25 years to wear out this trim piece and replacing it would make the car beautiful for the rest of my time here. Right side is beginning to show wear, also.

Thanks, “hangit”,
I have not tried to remove this trim to see what its profile might be.
