W115 300D Power Steering Pump Touching Anti-Roll Bar/ Engine Mounts?

I've noticed a strange, deep rattle the last few days in my '76 300D. Got it up on ramps tonight and found the culprit. The bracket that holds the power steering pump is resting within a hair's width of the anti-roll bar. The bar bushings are firm and the brackets are tight. Nothing looks bent and I haven't hit anything on the road.

When the engine is running, especially at very low rpm, the two get together and tango. My WAG is that the engine mounts are shot allowing the engine to sit a little low. I don't have any more shake than usual but this is all I can come up with. Is this the best place to start or should I be looking for something else?

Thanks,

Sam

Sam,

Definitely start with the motor mounts. More than likely this is the fix.
