87 300D turbo window relay location

I've performed a search for the location of the window relay (all windows switches dead, all partially opened, rain predicted and it's getting HOT) I found a thread which mentions the relay being behind the gauges on a 83 300d. Is it also here on an 87 300D Turbo? If so, any info on pulling the gauges (how to) would be fantastic!

IF in a time crunch

under the door panels there are Phillips screws holding one green and one black wire side by side. They're visible at the lower right (LH doors)as you face the door's inside (lower left in the RH/pass side.) If you have a battery or jump off pack, connect them to 12V DC by hand. DISCONNECT as soon as the window is up (or down) - this will power the motor directly and bypass switches & relays. Up and down are changed by reversing the + or - on the screws.

Thanks Mr. Watts! Speaking from first hand experience! I got them up, now to find that relay.....Did you have to replace yours?
Does this car even have a main window relay? Its not listed in the "Buyparts" area from our host?

You do have power to sunroof, climate control, etc.? Otherwise try wiggling the ignition key a bit.

Thanks Babymog,
Yes, I do have power to the sunroof and the climate control. The power passenger side mirror works also.

Another rather "warm" drive to work this morning.
There is a window relay in there somewhere, right?

Thought I'd try the switches today at lunch and the switches work! Intermittant problem....Eeek!
