Here ya go. These are on my 82, yours may be different. Measurements are from the center of the ball to center of the ball in most cases except A. There is a spot in the plastic that the linkage goes, so I'm gonna call that a B also.
A to the IP, looks kind of S shaped, with a plastic end... 102 mm B-B? B throttle linkage to IP 186 mm B-B C to cruise actuator 193 mm B-B D from vac to cruise 199 mm B-B E 160 mm B-B F 103 mm B-B Hope it helps you out. With the throttle depressed fully, you can see A bottom out on the IP. If it doesn't, something needs lengthening. Do it slowly, my trans shifts differently now that I did mine. |
Are these just your specific numbers or are they from the FSM?
I've always tweaked mine by feel and play but having some concrete numbers would be nice Although, with engine mounts that have shifted or been destroyed, the numbers are going to be off as the whole engine will shift it's position Should also be noted, in the picture posted, "A" hits a stop that is adjustable. I had to adjust mine to get full proper travel. There is also a stop near the black valve cover box, make sure its not hitting this stop too soon, had to adjust for that as well |
These are mine specific, and should not be used for anything other than entertainment purposes.
