That's been my favorite for some time - it pretty much says it all without saying very much.

Very Sad

My brother bought a 1969 220D from a German who had owned the car for over 20 years. My brother said the guy cried when he sold it.

Shouldn't it have come back as a new E-class? I mean, the W114/115 evolved into the 123, that evolved into the 124, and so on and so on until the W211.

The old way of classic vehicles is confusing..

the 200 class was entry level really = C Class

300 series was mid level = E Class

S=.. S class

then the SL's and SLC. etc

Pssh... you don't have an E-class, you have a D-class.
