A friend of mine almost lost her truck due to Jiffy Lube about 10 years ago, due to an oily shop towel laying on the exhaust manifold.

Luckily, when she got to work, the rag was just smoldering, until the hood was opened, on purpose, and the fire extingisher worked as it should.

Frankly, I don't know how SF Mercedes makes any money charging $80 for an 8.5 quart oil change with free full inspection of the vehicle. And there's a chance the Mercedes dealership won't ruin your car in the process.

Yeah I know. It costs me $65 between the old and filter last time I changed my oil. So $80-$100 for a dealer to do it is pretty fair, IMHO.
