I got a bit of warning, the speedometer would drop about 5 or so MPH whenever I hit a bump. then it just stopped altogether. I figure it's the sender in the tranny, or the wiring, but can anybody think of another culprit? I gotta crawl under there and look at the hookup then trace the wire I suppose... dang, and I was so proud of my dash cluster swap... my 120mph speedo was working great... was. oh well. I need a nice set of MB coveralls...

I got this fixed this weekend, the fix also took care of my ignition key not wanting to start the car...

wait for it...




there is a wire cluster on the drivers side above the fuel pedal... I plugged it back in, voila! starter now starts, speedometer now works!
