Squeeky brake on a w123
The pad wear indicator came on in my 85 300TDT so I took it to the garage for new pads. I got it back about a week ago and I notice lots of squeeking. When I back out it seems to squeek for the rear. This will usually go away if I reapply the parking brake. From the front, I get squeeking when I turn left. There was a bit of sqeeking from straight line braking, but that seems to be going away. The garage claims they put on "expensive" pads, but I don't know the brand.
Take it back? Frankly, I would rather learn how to do it myself, I am just a little worried about working on such an important system Peter |

Brakes are one the easiest things to do on these things.

Replacing pads is super easy, you should have done it yourself! Squeaking could mean he didn't use enough (or any) anti-squeak lube/paste.
