1980 300SD stall at high rev

1980 Mercedes 300SD

I've posted about this before, but I am still concerned. I wanted more info before I take my car to a mechanic tomorrow.

I came up a 3 foot ditch pretty hard. My car stalled some 3 minutes later while climbing at low gear, climbing up pretty hard. The car didn't have trouble starting after 5 minutes. However, I did notice that while driving, the car felt almost as if it was going half on neutral and half on drive.

I started the engine yesterday, at about 30 F degree temperature and 11000 feet altitude, and as soon as I revved it up too much, I heard some rubbing noise and the engine stalled again. I listened close to the engine about a foot or two away and there was some hissing noise coming out of it. The oil level and coolant overflow level has not changed.

What's going on? Any ideas? Can I drive another 300 miles or so to the next biggest town?

PS I am in Peru, and you can follow my journey here.-

Something is broke, is anything bent or rubbing?

Is the temperature and oil pressure normal?
